New daily carry: CAT S22 Flip. I got a refurbished Cat S22 Flip on Saturday Oct 3rd. off Amazon for $120 CAD and have been loving it so far! I'm much more present in my day to day. It has all the functionality I need for my day to day when out of the house, Lyft (though uber is not available) to get to my early morning work shifts, Spotify + YouTube and Bluetooth so I can listen to things, but screen so small that I’m never tempted to scroll. I have switched my SIM card from the iPhone 16 to the S22 and leave my iPhone at home every day, as well as downstairs overnight and it’s already cut my screen time by ~60%. I’ve been very impressed by its functionality and how it can accommodate all my day to day needs without providing supernormal stimulus. It works with the same SIM card size as iPhone so no work was needed for the switch, and it can also use VoLTE network. Great experience so far! The on screen keyboard is also wayyyy easier to use than the T9 triple click.
